Our Mom’s Story – A Woman Who Loved Deeply, and Whom We Now Hold with All Our Love
Our mom has always been the heart of our family. She was the one who gave us smiles, hugs, advice, and those warm Sunday lunches we all looked forward to. Today, she is in her 61 years and living with moderate-stage Alzheimer’s disease.
Every day is different for her—sometimes she remembers, sometimes she drifts through thoughts and memories that no longer have clear shapes. She forgets names, places, even familiar faces… but one thing that never fades is her love. Even when she doesn’t know my name, her eyes say: "I love you." And we love her, more than words can say.
I’m her daughter, and I left my job to take care of her at home. I wanted her to have peace, safety, and the comfort of familiar surroundings—because I know how important that is for someone living with Alzheimer’s. My dad, although he is retired, still works part-time to help cover our basic needs. We share the care, but most of it falls on me. It is emotionally, physically, and financially demanding.
Every day we face costs for medication, hygiene supplies, mobility aids, and the everyday things—like food, electricity, and transportation to doctor visits. We never imagined asking for help, but now we truly need it.
If you decide to support our fundraiser, you are helping not only financially but emotionally—giving our mom the chance to stay at home for as long as possible, surrounded by love rather than cold institutional walls.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading our story and helping us keep our mom at home—where she belongs.
With love and gratitude,
A daughter who will never forget
