Thank you so much to everyone that donated. We have now reached our target for the transportation costs of the donated food and are extremely grateful for the support and of how quickly everyone came together to help. Any donations we receive over the target we will use to buy new equipment for the sanctuary such as play equipment and go towards medicines and veterinary care. Thanks again.

Description
Hi we are Sara and Greg and we have a cat sanctuary called Quinta Sarreiro for disabled, sick, abandoned and special needs cats and kittens in Central Portugal. Each month our costs for food are extremely high as some of these foods are special dietary foods for the cats with illnesses.
We have just been offered a wonderful donation of food from a pet food manufacturer in Germany which would help us tremendously but we have to pay the transport costs from Germany to Portugal. The pallets of cat food are worth way more than the the delivery costs but we need help to raise the money for the transportation.
We are really thrilled that our sanctuary has been recognised and offered this fantastic food donation. It will mean that money usually allocated for food can be used for vet treatments and helping more sick and disabled cats. It will also enable us to carry on feeding colonies of street cats in local villages.
