Hello everyone,

we are Rossella and Lorenzo, a passionate Sicilian couple who decided to return to Messina after gaining experience in the hospitality industry at luxury hotels in London.

We returned with big dreams and a great deal of enthusiasm, but life presented us with an unexpected challenge: my partner was diagnosed with cervical cancer. This changed our plans and forced us to stay in Messina.

Despite the difficulties, we didn’t give up and decided to take over a small café. Five years ago, we took charge of this place and put our heart and soul into it. We’ve worked hard, overcoming every obstacle, and thanks to the support of our customers, we’ve managed to create a special place where everyone feels at home.

The reviews we receive every day are our greatest source of satisfaction and show us that we are on the right track. But unfortunately, the costs are high and we are unable to set aside the money needed to carry out the work our café requires to grow and improve.

What’s more, the costs are so high that we can’t afford to hire staff, which makes our work even harder as we have to work 12 hours a day and can’t even rest when we’re ill. And, most importantly, we’d love to be able to expand our family. We’d like to have a baby, but our current financial situation doesn’t allow it.

For this reason, we have decided to ask for your help. We need a little support to continue offering a quality service, to renovate the premises and to create new opportunities for growth.
