The staff at the Zalakaros Ambulance Station work day in, day out to ensure that local residents and visitors to the area receive the fastest and most professional emergency care possible. To maintain the high standard of their work, they need not only state-of-the-art medical equipment but also a suitable environment for training and rest.

To this end, I am organising a fundraising campaign aimed at purchasing a state-of-the-art, high-performance multimedia computer, two new televisions, a washer-dryer and one air-conditioning unit, to replace the current, outdated and faulty equipment.

These devices would facilitate the professional development of ambulance staff, the use of multimedia teaching materials and their participation in online training courses, whilst also providing them with a civilised opportunity to relax during their shifts. Individuals and businesses joining this initiative will, through their support, indirectly contribute to emergency medical care in the region. Every donation brings us closer to ensuring that staff at the Zalakaros Ambulance Station can carry out their vital work in a more modern environment.

"The team at the Zalakaros Ambulance Station are on standby 24 hours a day, ready to help people in distress. 

In recent years, we have responded to countless life-threatening situations: resuscitations, serious road traffic accidents, 

heart attacks and stroke patients, as well as being called out to incidents such as the rescue of a two-year-old boy 

who was stung by several wasps at once. Thanks to our rapid response and professional care, we were able to carry out a successful rescue.

Behind every incident lies a family, a human life. We set out on every call with the same dedication to providing the best possible care.

However, this requires not only well-equipped ambulances, but also a suitable working environment. We spend a significant part of our shifts at the station: 

this is where we prepare for the next call-out, where we take part in further training, and where we rest between saving lives.
