Dear donors,
In 2011, we were overjoyed to welcome our second son into the world. Unfortunately, fate dealt us a heavy blow, as our son Lennox was born with a severe congenital heart defect. As if that weren’t enough, he had to undergo several operations and developed cerebral venous thrombosis, which led to severe cerebral haemorrhages, and we didn’t know whether our son would survive. Thank God he made it through, but since then he has been severely disabled and confined to a wheelchair.
Seven years ago, we managed to buy a wheelchair-accessible VW bus on our own... but it has now suffered engine failure for the second time. This time, we cannot afford the repairs ourselves and the warranty has expired. Because of Lennox, we are in urgent need of the car.
