Description
Luke and Dan will be competing in the Ironman 70.3 triathlon on 7th September in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. This challenging event includes a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run. We’re participating to raise money for the Salvation Army Social Centre in Riga, supporting their mission to provide care and hope to those in need.
Since 2010, the Salvation Army Social Centre in Riga has been a beacon of hope for those facing life's toughest challenges. We offer a warm meal, clothing, and place of hope. Our doors are open to anyone in need, whether it’s families, the elderly, people with disabilities, or individuals going through hard times.
Our dedicated team provides not only essential services but also a sense of community and belonging. We offer social worker consultations, spiritual support, and activities that help people rediscover hope and strength. Through Bible studies, art therapy, physical activities, and opportunities for personal growth, we guide individuals on a path to healing and transformation.
At the heart of our work is the love of Christ, showing people that no one is forgotten, and that with support, a new beginning is possible. Your donation can help us continue to offer these life-changing services to those who need them most.
Thank you for being a part of this vital work!
