First thanks for checking out my cause and I hope all is good with you and your family at the moment you are reading this.

My name is Elka and I am from Bulgaria. I have worked 15 years in IT companies and recently got laid off, so I am still jobless.

In the meantime I found an ill dog in front of out home and took her in to be a sister to my other dog Kalina Bubka. The new dog name is Chara. She had parvovirus but we managed to get her healthy and strong, we literally saved her life. This was unplanned and cost me around 350 eur, but I managed to take care of it.

She is with us 3 months now and today we were to do a radiography scan to her legs and spine, as she sometimes subtly limps with her left hind leg and shows minor signs of pain.

It turned out that at the time she was 1 or 2 months old she had her upper back leg broken and it healed not in the best way without any treatment. As a result the bone is a little shorter and a little curved and the knee outer tendon is loose, so her knee cap goes to the inside of the leg. This needs to be corrected with operation as the dog is still very young and will become handycapped very early in her life. She is around 8 months old at the moment.

The operation will be done in the beginning of January and will cost approximately 750 EUR. I will be able to cover the expense but as this was completely unplanned, it will be very difficult for me, especially without a job and at this time of the year, so me, Chara and her sister Kalina- Bubka will highly appreciate any support.
