Partially deaf, in constant pain, with a tumour – every day is a struggle!

Imagine waking up every day in pain and uncertainty. That your body is letting you down, and the life you once knew is falling apart. This is my reality.

I am partially deaf due to Meniere’s disease, which has not only destroyed my hearing but also causes constant dizziness and balance problems. Because of tinnitus, there is a constant ringing in my ears, as if there were never any silence. But that is only the beginning. I live with a benign brain tumour, which, although not cancerous, still has a huge impact on my life, causing constant headaches and neurological problems.

And that’s not all. I’m also battling several chronic conditions that make my life harder day by day. As well as Meniere’s and the tumour, I’m also battling: Hashimoto’s thyroiditis… IBS… liver disease… hormonal heart palpitations… Because of my illnesses, I’m unable to work, so I have no income, whilst the cost of medication, treatments and everyday expenses keeps rising. I can’t bear this burden alone.
