Description
The project stems from the urgent need to control the growing number of stray cats in the
Rho area, where the Associazione Amici on the Rhoad ODV has been operating since 2023. The latest
census revealed the presence of at least 91 cats requiring neutering, a number that exceeds the
association’s financial and logistical capacity. Unfortunately, neutering is not yet
sufficiently supported by the local council and the ATS (Local Health Authorities), despite
it is one of the most effective tools for controlling the stray cat population. Consequently, the association
is forced to cover the necessary costs itself, a commitment that involves a
considerable effort in terms of financial resources and time.
