Hi, my name is Táda and I’ll be 21 soon.

I’d like to fulfil a dream for myself and my girlfriend, who is 24. I’ve been looking after her as her carer since she was 18 due to her serious health condition. Our goal is to buy our dream car, which costs 235,000 CZK. Specifically, a 2006 BMW E63.

I don’t want to play on people’s emotions regarding someone else’s health, but I’m worried that Domča might have complications with a lung transplant. At 18, she went through a severe bout of leukaemia and has suffered a great deal since then, including problems with her family when she was young. For someone as young as Domča, she has suffered enough, and I think she deserves a better and happier life. That is why we want to go ahead with the lung transplant, which promises that Domča will be able to live a normal life – and, above all, without that pesky oxygen tank – and buy a car which would allow her to enjoy every moment before the time comes for the operation – an operation that may not even be successful. But she is brave; she has beaten cancer, has a beautiful daughter, and is a fighter and an inspiring person.
