The Story

What you see is a plot of abandoned, semi-abandoned land very near to Bulgaria's capital Sofia. When I was a kid (the 80's) I used to spend a lot of time there with some of the owners of the plot and the bungalow and I have many happy memories from this time. To cut the long story short the owners have been aging and the plot and the bungalow are severely neglected. Recently one of the owners (there are 5 of them, all cousins) asked me to go and trim a bit the weeds/ trees that were at the time overgrowing everything. I went and I did - the pictures you see are the result of my three day effort. I used whatever tools I had and borrowed some tools from neighbors. Got a few blisters on my hands and I that was it.

I can't spend the night - no running water and/or electricity. No bathroom, no shower. However it is so wrong to have that entire plot neglected. Between two jobs and family stuff I have one day weekly that I can use to make this right and take at least some care of the land - even if it is not entirely mine. I can't afford to spend money on this however, so I need some help to get tools and consumables - bags, chemicals, gloves.
