FUNDRAISING FOR THE ARTISTS OF THE APRIL FESTIVAL IN LINHA 

26 APRIL – TAPADA DAS MERCÊS YOUTH CENTRE ✨🌹🎉

With every passing year, the Carnation Revolution recedes a little further into the past – whether due to the temporal distance separating us from it, or because we, as a society, have drifted away from the ideal we sought to build on that first, whole and pure day, when we emerged from the night and the silence! At Dínamo, we refuse to accept this drift passively. More than 50 years after the day Freedom took to the streets, we continue daily to strive to build, within our community, futures rooted in solidarity, fraternity and justice. For us, April means a great deal – it means Culture, Freedom, Struggle, Love, Music, Dance, Community, Resistance, and much more. 🫂

Above all, we do not see 25 April as a static date in the past, but rather as a living memory that it is up to all of us to continue building, together. For this very reason, for the third consecutive year, these words will take shape in a popular, community-led festival, right in the heart of Tapada das Mercês.

Arraial Abril na Linha is back, with lots of new features! From artists who will liven up our festival with music, painting, dance and much more, to debates, workshops, exhibitions, pork sandwiches and so many other things for us to enjoy together. It will be an afternoon full of dancing and entertainment, and we’re counting on all of you to help create this wonderful moment.

April has taught us that culture is for everyone, but that it only stays alive with everyone’s support. To make this Arraial possible, we’ve launched a fundraising campaign where 100% of the money raised will go to the artists who share their talent with us. Supporting this project means investing directly in our community and its creators. Join us and help keep this flame burning!
