With your help, we rescue those that others have given up on. Wedon’t take on ‘easy cases’. These are animals that have been abused (rescued from their owners), are sick, have been abandoned, or have often been in accidents – animals that simply won’t survive without help. Out of consideration for our readers, we do not publish graphic images. We respect the fact that not everyone wants or should have to face such difficult images.

Behind every rescued animal is someone who gave it a chance. Every bit of support brings about real change – from pain to peace, from fear to trust.

These are not isolated stories. This is everyday life. We have dozens of animalsin our care. Each of them needs food, medical treatment and a place where they can recover. This means a daily struggle for time, resources and funds, which are often simply lacking.

Behind all this are people. A small team and volunteers who do everything they can every day. This isn’t just a job. It’s a responsibility for life.

We don’t do this for the numbers. We do it for them. Because every life matters. Because many of them would have no chance at all without a place like this.

It’s the first moment of safety in a very long time. For many of them, it’s the first time they don’t have to fight for survival.

Every year, we find dozens of responsible, caring homes – ones where animals are truly treated as members of the family. We stay in regular contact with every adopter, and before placing any dog or cat, we thoroughly check the conditions and readiness of the new carer. We choose carefully and thoughtfully, because one wrong decision can end in tragedy.

Caring for cats is not just about the shelter. Outside its gates, there is a network of people working every day without whom this help would not be possible.

These are the feeders. Volunteers who, on their own initiative, look after cats living in the wild. They are neither employees nor members of the foundation. They act voluntarily, in their spare time, driven by care and responsibility.
