Hello,

My name is Agnieszka, I am a single mum raising three children, two of whom are still at school. In January 2022, my husband passed away suddenly, which meant that everything started to fall apart. My husband built the bathroom with his own two hands; we hadn’t had one for many years. In 2017, my mum was diagnosed with diabetes, which resulted in her losing her sight, and she now needs my care, which I provide on a daily basis whilst also looking after the children.

Our financial situation is difficult, but I am trying to improve the quality of life for my

children and mum. The house needs repairs such as replacing the floors, repairing the walls and ceilings, and replacing the heating system. At the moment, we have three stoves in the house which are very high-maintenance and dangerous, especially in winter due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The furniture in the house has been damaged by damp, and the children do not have their own rooms, nor do they have suitable conditions for living, learning and personal development. Although there is a lot of work to be done, I am striving to achieve the goal of improving my family’s quality of life. I am grateful for any help that will assist with the renovation of the house and the improvement of our living conditions.
