It all started about 1.5 years ago, a Viers was to be built on her roof. She hired a company, everything was agreed, the company came and started, she had to run errands and let the company work. Just before she got home, her son called her and said, "Mum, there's no roof on one half of the house." She thought it was a joke, but unfortunately, the company had covered the roof and had not done so carefully, but had thrown the panels off the roof, which were now all lying there smashed to pieces.

That's how she felt at that moment. There was no turning back - the roof had to be completely replaced. Everything had to be done quickly, she got a loan of €100,000 from the bank to have the roof done. The company did the roof very unprofessionally. Then she hired a company via eBay classifieds to do the rest of the interior work/renovation of the upper floor. And that's when the drama really began. Unfortunately, she good-naturedly fell into the trap of a fraudster. He demanded money in advance for material costs, he came across as serious and so she gave him cash totalling almost €17,000. Yes, she would never do it again today.

This "company" came 4 times and suddenly he was on holiday, excuses after excuses, then he never came again. In short, she became a victim of fraud, which was reported and is still in court. Now she is left with an unfinished extension, and the money for a single parent with a loan for the roof, and a €17,000 loss due to fraud is simply not enough to carry on. It survived the first winter with a hand-width opening to the outside because nothing was properly panelled, the bathroom has no doors, the bedroom is unfinished and cold and now the next winter is just around the corner and I can no longer just watch. Please help me to do something about it.
