From a matchstick to a dream – from a dream to an adventure park

You know, there’s that moment when you look back on your life and say:

Right, so far I’ve collected successes, failures, (and a pile of matches…🙂) – now I’m sixty, and I’d like to create something that goes beyond me:

An adventure park where behind every single matchstick lies a dream, a story, a touch of madness.

• Where the match doesn’t light up, but enchants; where a match becomes something else, and something else becomes a match.
• 
• Where damaged matches become heroes.
• 
• Where a secret or two is revealed.
• 

My aim is not to change the world. Just a little joy. For you, for me, for everyone who is still a little bit of a child at heart.

And if one day it really does become an amusement park…

Although I’ve already blown out the candles…

I know there are countless important causes in the world that can and must be supported. For many people living in unjust situations, support is their only hope. It’s not about supporting me instead. But simply averting every disaster won’t make us happy in itself…

I “just” want to bring a smile to as many people’s faces as possible. In the difficult moments of my life, humour has always saved me…

This is just the beginning – I’m preparing for my first mini matchstick exhibition. (presentation here)

But for this to ever become a park, it will take a little miracle.
