Dear family, friends and everyone reading this,

It is with heavy hearts that we write this appeal. Our dear grandmother Jaqueline, 74 years young, has a serious condition for which she urgently needs a special medicine that is not covered by health insurance.

This medicine costs €5,700 and is her only hope for a better quality of life, less pain and possibly even an extension of her time with us. Without this medicine, her health will rapidly deteriorate and we will see her slowly decline – something that causes us, as grandchildren, children and family, immense sadness.

Grandma has always been the kindest, strongest and most caring person in our lives. She looked after us when we were little, spoiled us with homemade cakes, told us endless stories and loved us unconditionally. Now it is our turn to look after her.
