Description
In August 2024 during our trip to Malaysia, just before getting on the boat, we noticed this little being in a very bad state on the pavement, dogs not being wanted or respected in Malaysia, this didn't surprise us, as we approached we discovered with atrocity the purulent and infected wounds open on this poor little dog only a few months old, he was surely waiting on the side of the road for death to come and take him, At that moment we didn't think twice, it was unthinkable to continue this journey without doing something, so we took this little dog, who would later be named Borneo in homage to his island of origin, to the nearest veterinary clinic, we paid for a month's treatment and care, his ears had to be cut off in some places because the tissue was necrotic, he was covered in hundreds of ticks, had maggots on his wounds, it was awful to see, The veterinary clinic gave us news every day, they weren't sure they could save him, but this little warrior fought to survive, today she's much better, only one worry, her future is uncertain, being in contact with the only protective association on the whole island of Borneo, which has more than 3000 dogs, we have to take her home to offer her a dignified life, the one she deserves, but here the costs are 3000€, Unfortunately, we don't have enough money to complete this rescue, which is very close to our hearts. She will have to be flown to Europe on 4 different planes, with 2 quarantines, one of which will last 2 months before she can leave the country. For Borneo.
