Hello everyone,

Today I would like to make a request, without necessarily expecting anything in return, of course.

I find myself in a difficult financial situation following vehicle problems. I lost my job as a chef with a salary of €1,700 and now find myself with €720 in rent for €1,000 in income and numerous expenses piling up behind me. I live in fear of bailiffs and other formal notices. I have made numerous applications to banks and other organisations and associations in order to stabilise my situation, but they have all been refused. I now find myself unable to manage my situation properly. I am doing everything I can to find work close to home that I can get to without a vehicle, but as a chef with split shifts, this is not easy (I am looking in all sectors, of course).

I know that many people are in the same situation as me, or even worse, and I am aware of this. I just hope that they will be able to make the same request as me and perhaps have the chance to get a little help from someone who may have been in the same situation or can relate to my story.

I feel a little ashamed to make this request, and perhaps others will feel the same way, but the main thing is to share the situation. No one is obliged to participate or anything else. It just feels good to be able to talk about your situation when you find yourself alone.
