Hey, my name is Svenja. I’m 20 years old and I’m currently studying biology. As my parents are my main source of support during my studies, but I couldn’t bear the thought of them having to pay for everything, I was looking for a part-time job that I could do whilst studying. Unfortunately, I was so excited at the prospect of finally being able to give something back to my parents that, whilst looking for a job, I unwittingly fell for an online scam and pyramid scheme. I’m so ashamed of it, but I’m also all the more desperate because I don’t know how I can now come up with the money I’ve lost so quickly. Especially as this is exactly the opposite of what I set out to do. I can no longer ask my parents to pay this incredible sum for me, and even with my studies and the part-time job I’m already doing, there’s no way I can raise the €7,000. I am therefore really asking for your support. I used to not understand how people could fall for something like this online, but believe me, it happens so quickly!! So please look after yourselves, so that the same thing doesn’t happen to you as it did to me! I am asking once again for your support and am grateful for every euro!
