Hello, my name is Hana and I humbly ask for help for my two daughters.

I am the mother of two little girls – each has a different father, and this has been the source of my daily struggle for the past five years.

My first daughter’s father beat me, manipulated me and destroyed me both mentally and physically. When my daughter was three months old, I plucked up the courage, put her in her pram and fled back to my parents. The police couldn’t do anything at the time, so I spent the next year recovering from the aftermath – anxiety, panic attacks and a loss of trust in people.

Despite this, I picked myself up. When my daughter was one, I started doing odd jobs to support us. Her father didn’t pay child support then and still doesn’t pay it today – once every few months he sends a few crowns to avoid going to prison. In February, I started the enforcement process to at least secure substitute maintenance.

After a few years, I believed in love again, but my second partner left me whilst I was pregnant. Fortunately, he takes an interest in his daughter and pays child support.

Today I’m trying to manage everything on my own – looking after the children, the household, rent, clothes, food, and even water and electricity bills. In recent weeks, however, I’ve been overwhelmed by expenses that I simply don’t have the strength or money to cover.

I’m selling my younger daughter’s things and looking for work from home, but so far without success. And so, even though it’s not easy for me, I’m turning to you with a plea for help – with anything at all.

Every penny will help with:

• baby formula and nappies for my younger daughter
• basic groceries and food for the children
• covering essential living costs, water and electricity

I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. But I know I’ll do anything for my children. And if there’s anyone among you who could help us get through this difficult time – I’ll be incredibly grateful.
