Hello everyone, my name is Cinzia and I would like to bring to your attention and to the attention of the institutions the serious issue of rare diseases, for which the canonical cures and protocols provided by our National Health Service are not enough and in some cases are alas only palliative.

I am talking to you about pudendal neuralgia (PN), a condition characterised by chronic or acute pain affecting the genital area, the perineum (area between the anus and the genitals) and the pelvic floor muscles. The main symptom is pain, which can be described as burning, tingling or stabbing pain in the pelvic, perineal or genital area.

And it is not only women who are affected, but unfortunately men as well.

And it is the story of a man that I am about to tell you. A man who for months has been battling with these unbearable pains, a man who no longer has a social or working life, a job that he is in danger of losing, a man who has had to put aside his passions, those passions that in parallel with the daily grind help us to live light-heartedly and with a smile.

Yes, because Daniele is a great artist, he is a wonderful photographer and an eclectic and creative director, each of his shots tells a story and an emotion, each of his frames vibrates with energy and feeling.

Unfortunately, illness forces him to bed helpless, gripped by continuous and devastating pain. The treatments that could possibly cure him are offered by private facilities and professionals. The costs are exorbitant and for Daniele the expenses have become unbearable but necessary to give him a hope of recovery. Yes, because Daniele must recover, he must hold on and he must continue to give the world his wonders.

I hope that my story reaches your hearts and awakens consciences.
