This year, when we reopened our seaside restaurant, we were in for a terrible shock to find Meo malnourished, in a poor state, and unable to chew.

Meo is a cat of about 8 years old, very docile, definitely a house cat, whom we have been feeding for years during the summer and who, during the other months, found shelter in the various inhabited houses in the area.

Test results: FIV POSITIVE, negative for Parvo. Meo is malnourished, dehydrated, anaemic, showing early signs of anal prolapse due to severe diarrhoea, infested with parasites, suffering from gingivitis and likely to have a heart condition. He is currently at the clinic and will probably need a blood transfusion and further tests.

At the moment I cannot afford the costs involved, but I cannot turn a blind eye when I see a creature in distress, and with great humility I am asking for your help to cover the costs of his treatment. Even a small contribution is a huge help at this time.

I’m used to working; this is the first time I’ve asked for help to save an animal, but it’s a truly difficult time for me and I don’t want to interrupt his treatment. Thank you for your help ❤️
