Hi, my name is Williams. I live in Aprilia and I’ve started raising funds because, unfortunately, I’ve lost my job and I have two children aged seven and eight… obviously, that’s no excuse – my wife doesn’t work full-time; she works one day a week for four or five hours at €6 an hour. This is a very difficult time for us; we have no one to help us because, sadly, my father has passed away. My mother cannot help me as she is unable to, my father-in-law lives in Parma and cannot help us as he receives the minimum pension and has to pay rent and other bills, and my mother-in-law is, unfortunately, disabled and so she cannot help us either... I have never started a fundraising campaign before, but I believe there is goodness in people, and this goodness can help us too at this time... I’m not using the children as an excuse, but unfortunately, in these difficult times, it’s not easy to support a family. We have rent to pay, overdue bills, and very little to eat. Caritas gives us almost nothing, even with a very low ISEE, and on top of that, we live in a house with a lot of mould, so every month we have to remove it using products we’ve always bought at our own expense... I’m not disabled, I’m not part of a charity, but I’m just asking for help to get by given the difficult situation. I hope someone will take this to heart and help us... thank you all; the funds will be used for food, fuel, children’s clothes and bills
