This campaign is for a mother who, for over 10 years, has been living in a constant flight from violence, abuse and threats. Following a marriage marked by control and terror, her separation in 2015 did not bring liberation, but rather the start of a silent struggle for survival, safety and the protection of her child.

The emotional and financial costs have become impossible to bear: court cases, repeated rent payments, relocations, paperwork, security. In February 2024, her ex-husband came looking for the child with a knife and slashed the tyres of her car. He was sentenced to seven months in prison for criminal damage — but fear cannot be sentenced.

Currently, the mother and child urgently need financial help to pay off their debts and move to a place where they can live in safety and anonymity. The amount required is €30,000.

• 2015 – first protection order for her and the child
• 2015 – sole custody, with no visiting arrangements
• 2016–2018 – several protection orders, followed by convictions for breaching them and for making threats
• 2024 – serious incident involving a 33 cm knife and the destruction of her car

This woman has done everything she could to protect her child. Today she needs our help.
