My name is Raluca, and I am a 26-year-old and a devoted mother to my beautiful 13-month-old son. Today, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, seeking your support in my battle against cancer.

In 2021, my life took a devastating turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing a mastectomy to remove my left breast, I hoped to put this ordeal behind me and focus on my studies and my growing family. However, just six months later, I faced another life-altering diagnosis: ovarian cancer.

Initially, I had to make the difficult decision to remove one ovary when I found out about my ovarian cancer. Following that surgery, I underwent chemotherapy to combat the disease. In 2025, after giving birth to my precious son, I had to remove my other ovary as well to ensure my health and safety.

Despite these efforts, I recently learned that my ovarian cancer has metastasized to my spine, resulting in four tumors , to my left iliac bone and to my liver This news has been overwhelming, and I am now faced with an urgent need for specialized investigations and treatment abroad.

After doing three courses of chemotherapy and stereotactic therapy it seems like 90% of my cancer is gone , with only one metastasis left in my left iliac bone. For that I will require a new round of treatment and the costs are overwhelming .

Until now, I have been able to cover the costs of my treatments. However, I find myself in a very hard spot, as the financial burden of the specialized care I need has become too great for me to manage alone. I am determined to fight for my life—not just for myself, but for my precious child who deserves a mother by their side.
