An eco-friendly, self-sufficient home for a different way of living

My name is Anaya.

I am a woman passionate about nature, simplicity, and the idea that we can build a free and gentle life, even with very little. Today, I am embarking on a vital project: building my own eco-friendly home, one that is simple, beautiful and respectful of life.

I’m not making this choice because it’s trendy or by chance.

My fragile health means I need to live in a healthy, calm, unpolluted place that suits my needs. Conventional housing, mould, chemicals, noisy or stressful environments... all of these have a profound impact on my physical and mental wellbeing.

I am on my own with this project, without family support, but I want to believe that mutual aid, solidarity and human values can help dreams grow.

I want to build a small 45 m² house, designed to be kind to the planet and kind to me:

• walls made of earth and straw 🌾
• recycled materials (pallets, wood, etc.) 🔨
• self-sufficiency in energy and water (solar panels, tanks) 💧
• a constructed wetland system for wastewater and eco-toilets 🚿
• a simple, natural, minimalist interior — a truly soothing and healthy cocoon, essential to my well-being

I’m not looking for modern comforts at any cost. I’m looking for a refuge where I can live better, in harmony with nature and my body.

I cannot fund this project on my own.

I work, I’m an entrepreneur, I’m fighting — but my resources are limited.

Your help, however small, can help me escape the anxiety of temporary living and build a stable, soothing and respectful space, in harmony with my body and my values.

• Natural materials (earth, straw, wood)

Target 2 – €5,500:

• Basic solar installation
• Water harvesting tanks
• Natural insulation tailored to health requirements

Target 3 – €7,000:

• Finishing touches: kitchen, stove, sleeping area
• Installation of the phytoremediation system
• Gentle, healthy and natural interior design

• Updates on the build (photos, videos)
• Advice and feedback
• Little homemade surprises (cards, seeds, illustrations…)
• An invitation to come and visit when everything is ready, to share this dream come true 🎉

This project is more than just a shelter. It’s about health, dignity and balance.
