I'm a mixed breed with a heart full of love, despite a complicated past. I was abandoned when I was younger, and that made me very afraid of people. Luckily, I found my human, who has done everything he can to look after me and give me a new life full of affection and protection.

But now I'm facing a major health challenge: I have cataracts in my eyes, which are making it difficult for me to see. This scares me even more, because it's hard enough to trust the world around me. My sight is essential for me to continue exploring the world safely and happily.

The problem is that the insurance won't cover the surgery needed to correct the cataracts. They claim that because I was abandoned before I was rescued, this is considered a "pre-existing condition". It's not fair, but my human and I aren't giving up!

The surgery and treatment costs around 3,000 euros, an amount that my human can't afford on her own. This amount covers the pre-operative examinations, the surgery itself and the medical follow-up needed to ensure that I recover well.
