This is a young boy who should now be living his youth carefree. Instead, he's lying in a hospital bed, in a bitter battle with acute myeloid leukaemia, a ruthless disease that has turned his world upside down in an instant.

At some point his condition took a turn for the worse. He was intubated with a severe lung infection and admitted to intensive care. He fought hard, day after day, hour after hour.

His best chance might be a bone marrow transplant, but the cost is huge: between €50,000 and €70,000.

The money raised will go towards covering the cost of necessary treatments such as chemotherapy and a potential bone marrow transplant.
