Hello! My name is Veronica Lahana. I come from the Black Sea, specifically from Sourmena and Trebizond of Pontus, and I was born in Athens. A year ago I decided to write a play based on the Genocide of the Greeks of Pontus, a historical event that marked many generations - including my ancestors. The play was presented for the first time on 19 May (the day of commemoration of the Pontian Genocide) at an event organised by a local cultural association.

Our aim is to bring this story to life:

👉 both theatrically, with a performance,

👉 as well as cinematically, through a short film - so that the message of humanity that the play conveys reaches even more people.

We know that times are tough; nevertheless, the human soul is hungry for culture and quality storytelling.
