For years, I have been living with a persistent, chronic inflammatory depressive disorder, alongside an anxiety disorder and borderline personality disorder, accompanied by severe somatisation, chronic fatigue syndrome and a clinical picture consistent with fibromyalgia.

I have been assessed by KEP.A. and have been awarded a 69% disability rating, with benefits expected in approximately 3 months.

My functional capacity has been reduced by 85–90%, whilst I experience severe symptoms on a daily basis, such as:

• Excessive sleepiness (15–20 hours/day) and inability to stay awake

• Extreme fatigue, reduced stamina and exhaustion

• Severe blurred vision, attention deficit, photosensitivity and hyperacusis

• Dizziness, tinnitus

• Reduced muscle strength in the upper limbs, with an inability to hold objects (objects falling from the hands)

• Nausea and autoimmune inflammation of the bowel (colitis)

• Panic attacks, shortness of breath, tachycardia

• Emotional instability, severe anxiety, episodes of deregulation

• Inability to travel beyond absolutely essential medical appointments

The iDNA pharmacogenetic profile has been completed and showed a reduced response to many classes of antidepressants and a high susceptibility to adverse effects, a fact that requires a highly personalised therapeutic approach.

The previous treatment regimen was not compatible with these findings, resulting in a significant deterioration.

I am now on a new treatment regimen, with careful dose adjustment and a combination of antidepressants, antipsychotics and over-the-counter preparations. I am also due to start treatment with esketamine (Spravato) at a public hospital, which fortunately appears to be covered.

However, due to the severity of my symptoms and my long-term disability, I am unable to work and am on the verge of losing my home. I urgently need support to cover:

• Rent

• Basic living expenses

• Medication

• Medical examinations and follow-up

• Daily necessities until my condition stabilises

The assistance I am requesting is temporary, until clinical stabilisation and functional recovery are achieved.
