Following an act of kindness, my brother Graziano – whom you probably know if you’re here – has fallen into the clutches of the most blind and rigid bureaucracy. Already in a rather precarious situation – that of a separated father with children in Milan – he now finds himself having to pay an astronomical fine, which, fortunately, he has managed to have deferred, but which remains a huge burden on his monthly budget. All this for a completely selfless act, his only ‘crime’ being that he perhaps acted with a touch of carelessness.

I am launching this campaign because I believe that no one should be left to face injustice alone, least of all someone who, despite everything, dedicates themselves daily to making the world they live in a better place.
