Alongside his paintings, Chicco Calleri has left us a miscellany of thoughts entitled “Trattato dalla Pittura”. It is a collection of around 140 pages bringing together writings, reflections and aphorisms drawn from his rich experience as a painter.

Chicco was a great friend. During the time we spent in his company, we learnt to cherish the meaning of friendship and came to understand how important it is to remain friends for life, right to the very end. We believe that many, like us, will wish to remember our friend and preserve his words.

We are therefore proposing the publication of the “Treatise on Painting” in book form. It will be a limited and numbered edition published by Disegnograve in Rovereto (Trento). The cost is 15 EURO per copy.
