Hi everyone, We are Rimantas and Dijana, a couple from Lithuania preparing for one of the most meaningful and beautiful days of our lives – our wedding, which is planned for May 31st. With just weeks to go, we’re still facing financial struggles that are making it hard to make this day possible – but we’re holding on to hope and faith that a small miracle might come our way. I (Rimantas) worked in England for 16 years as a plasterer. Unfortunately, the physical strain caused serious back issues – slipped discs – which forced me to stop working. I returned to Lithuania for treatment, and it took a couple of years of rehabilitation and medical care to recover. While I’m thankful my back is better, the long recovery completely drained me financially, and it's been hard to rebuild from there. Dina and I have also been trying for over two years to have our first child. We love children deeply and dream of becoming parents, but it hasn’t been easy. We’ve been through treatments, seen doctors, and are still holding onto hope that one day we’ll be blessed with a little one. We’ve stayed strong together and are doing our best to save for a simple, heartfelt wedding – just a small venue, basic food for close family and friends, and a few essentials to mark the beginning of our life as husband and wife. But time is running out, and we need help to make it happen. That’s why we’re reaching out to anyone who might feel touched by our story.
