Hello, I am a 54-year-old woman currently training to become a Family Care Assistant (ADVF); my training ends on 13 June 2025
I previously worked as a care assistant, similar to an AS role, but without the qualification, in a care home for two and a half years as part of a career change. I will no longer have a car from 14 June onwards, as I was renting one and could only keep it for three months through a community garage... here in the Haute-Loire department (43) where I live.
I am appealing to people’s generosity so that I can buy one, as it is difficult to save money whilst unemployed, and I already have the opportunity to return to my old job, so...
Even a small amount, a few euros, multiplied by... would give me hope and keep me going...🙂.
Life isn’t easy, of course, but with hope and determination—because I love my job, and yes... Supporting elderly people or those with disabilities, loneliness, illness, etc., means they need us ❤️
