Hello everyone, we’re a perfectly ordinary Sicilian family – perhaps a bit unlucky. We’ve just bought a little house that we’ve only half-renovated, for obvious reasons. We’ve been here less than a month, but unfortunately nature played a nasty trick on us: on 4 March, the earthquake struck. We didn’t suffer excessive damage, but we no longer have any savings left to repair the damage. Today, sadly, we’re up to our necks in debt – between the mortgage, the renovation and the red tape – and this dream sometimes feels like a nightmare. We’d just like a bit of peace of mind. I have other photos and videos, but the app won’t let me upload them; there’s not even a trace of the community screening. Thank you for taking a look and for your contributions. We’ll update you whenever, thanks to your generosity, we carry out restoration work. A little could go a long way. Unfortunately, the photos don’t do it justice, but we’d be happy to send videos and photos privately to show you the situation. And we’ll update with photos here on the app of the restoration work.
