Description
I lost my job about a year ago; I’m a single mother raising a family of two. At first, I was receiving a six-month allowance from the state. I thought I’d find some sort of work within six months. Months went by and no work came along. I can’t take just any job because I have a son who is going through puberty and has Asperger’s syndrome. The longer I stay at home, the worse I feel, and I can’t seem to get myself going. Until now, I’ve managed to keep us afloat somehow, but now the rent arrears have piled up and we’re facing the prospect of having to leave our flat. I’m at my wits’ end.
