In October, we received some difficult news: my uncle Leonir was diagnosed with jaw cancer. Since then, he has undergone a series of tests, such as CT and MRI scans, to better understand the situation and begin treatment.
Leonir is married, has two daughters and a granddaughter, who are his greatest motivation to fight. However, the costs of consultations, tests, medication and travel are mounting up, and his family, despite their best efforts, cannot cover all the expenses on their own.
