Description

Karl is 10 years old boy. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 8 and also a month later he got diagnosed with celiac disease, so his diet must be precise. His mother left work the day they rushed to the hospital to be by his side and to learn everything for him. How to prepare the food for him and how to inject the insulin. Karl was confused in the begging and he didn’t understand that he needs insulin pump but 2 years later he’s got the pump. Her mom and dad are so strong and brave. Dad is working 12 hours shifts to pay the bills and mom is preparing all the food and is in school with Karl to check that he will get everything when he needs it. Karl is very energetic boy and he loves the football. He loves he’s school and friends. Even when he must have he’s own food with him all the time. He’s very friendly and sweet boy.

Karl’s mother is also working here and there some nights to collect the money for Karl’s diabetics service dog. It will help Karl if his blood sugar is too low or high. It will give the family little-bit peace and also a friend for Karl. Diabetic service dogs, also called diabetic alert dogs or DADs, are trained to let you know when your blood sugar has spiked too high or dropped too low. This way, you can take action before the problem turns into a medical emergency.

Im asking help from you, let’s help Karl to get the friend who he really needs. And let’s take this stress away from their parents.

Thank you for reading.
