🗣️Roxana here (Roxántropa Trotamundos, to some of you), there’s something I want to tell you…

A month ago, in Valencia, my bike—my companion on adventures and, I’d almost say, in life—was stolen 🚲

It might seem trivial at first glance, but for me it was ‘my most VALUABLE possession’ in the broadest sense (not just from a financial point of view).

With the grief still fresh, a good friend suggested I start this project.

I’ll keep you posted…

I’m planning to cycle the Camino del Cid in reverse this spring, from Valencia to Burgos (just to be contrary) and, of course, by bike 🚴‍♀️

But the idea goes further…

I’d like to create a journey documenting the food sovereignty projects that are revitalising depopulated Spain, from Valencia right back to my home in Burgos.

And so here is my wish for my 35th birthday, which is next Saturday , 2 November (I wasn’t dead, I was out on the town...).

I’d like to ask you, to the extent that you feel like it and are able to, to help make this dream a reality. You can do so in various ways; here are a few suggestions:
