Hello, my name is Ioniță Sergiu Mihai and I am 26 years old. I live in Mediaș, Sibiu County. I have been unwell since I was 19, without knowing the cause.I suffer from chronic epilepsy, depression, generalised anxiety, memory problems and mental health issues. I have been admitted three times to the Gheorghe Preda Psychiatric Hospital in Sibiu, without any positive results.I had an MRI scan in 2023 at the Regina Maria Hospital in Brașov, which showed that my brain is healthy and that I only have a deviated nasal septum. Last year, I had an EEG, which confirmed that I have chronic epilepsy and significant abnormalities.Lately I haven’t been feeling well; for about two months I’ve been experiencing problems with my thinking, mental fog, memory issues and a clenched jaw. I need money to have a sequence MRI scan to determine the cause of this condition,and to be admitted to a private hospital for mental and cognitive rehabilitation, and perhaps to change my treatment.I also want to escape poverty; my parents are ill too – my mum suffers from schizophrenia and my dad from epilepsy. We’re struggling to make ends meet and pay the bills, and we want to enjoy life too.
