At the end of November, we want to send the “Autumn Humanitarian Convoy” the 35th humanitarian mission of the “Nehemiah Initiative” to Ukraine. We have a departure date set, we have friends, we have no money. We believe that this is a great place to start.

Two and a half years ago, in mid-April 2022, it was similar situation. The "Nehemiah Initiative” consisted of two people with one idea, who had faith, who had friends and who had no money.

A lot of time has passed since that day, a lot of good and bad things have happened, we have sent dozens of vans from Poland to Ukraine. Budgets have come and gone.

Today it is difficult to raise money for the next transport. But we still have faith and friends. Therefore, believing that the money will also be found, we began to plan the trip. Two volunteers have already booked their day-off in their calendars.

In the autumn transport, we want to send two-three vans with humanitarian aid. If we could manage more, we will send whatever we can collect. We can arrange even ten cars with volunteers. On the other hand, as of the day this fundraiser began, we don't have the money for even a load for one van.

The approximate cost of sending one van with aid to Ukraine is 3,200 euros, including the cost of the cargo (about a ton of food, household chemicals, medical supplies as painkillers, cold medicine, bandages), the cost of fuel and some fast food for the volunteers on the road.

In the spring of 2022, the situation was similar. We had people willing to help and established, vetted aid distributors (registered NGOs), but not enough money. Then a miracle happened. Over the next two and a half years, more than one miracle also happened. So we are hoping for another one this time.
