My father, János Kovács (58 years old, 2 children, 1 grandchild) is suffering from brain cancer!

At the beginning of January, we took him to the emergency room of a hospital with unbearable headaches and speech problems, on the recommendation of his family doctor. Overnight he was forgetting words, having difficulty speaking and his head hurt terribly. Previously, our dad had not only hardly ever taken medication, but he was very rarely ill. He never had any pain, he was a real fearless person, so we were terribly frightened. Unfortunately, after a series of tests (CT scan, ultrasound, etc.), we were confronted with the worst that no one really wants to hear: he has a brain tumour that requires immediate surgery, he is in a life-threatening condition. During emergency surgery, a 4 cm tumour was removed at the Semmelweis Neurosurgery Clinic in Pest, where our dad was immediately admitted and his life was saved within a few days. We are terribly and unspeakably grateful to his doctors. It was time for the check-up, for which we were waiting for the histology results. It turned out that his brain tumour is called Glioblastoma (WHO Grade 4), which is an extremely aggressive malignant tumour type. She was recommended radiotherapy and chemotherapy as further treatment, but the survival rate for this disease is extremely low and our doctor did not want to talk about life expectancy. We are broken! We didn't know what to do next, when we received a similar case of a friend who is currently being treated at a clinic in Germany with a new series of immune-boosting vaccines that have shown very good results against cancer. Unfortunately, this treatment is not available in Hungary, so no TB support is available. The cost of the treatment is nearly 80,000 euros, which is an extremely high amount for an average family, and for us alone it is out of reach. So now we have no choice but to ask for help, we turn to you and ask you to support our father's recovery. We believe that many small things can make a big difference and that by sticking together, anything can be achieved. Please help us to go fishing with our dad again, so that he can make us his beloved wild game recipe again on New Year's Eve, prune his fruit trees, and continue to repair many people's cars. Support so that in a few years he can make his 9-month-old grandson a fishing rod out of reeds, a sandpit and a small playground and so that our beloved dad, who is never sick and never takes medication, can now be cured. How can you donate?

The donation process is very simple:

Donations can be sent in euros, we chose this platform because neither your bank nor Revolut will charge you high costs for this, and the treatment is also paid to the clinic in euros, so we don't lose precious forints on the conversion.

2) After entering the amount, you can choose the payment method.

3) Then, in the 'Support 4fund.com team' section, you can choose to support the fundraising platform itself. By default, you can set the amount of support by dragging the slider left and right to 20% (you don't have to support the platform), so you donate this amount to the developer and not to my administration.

4) Then scroll down, enter your email address and your name if you wish.
