Update – 24 April 2026
Today we said our final farewell to Anita at the cemetery in Szigethalom. At this difficult time, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for all the donations received so far, which have been a tremendous help to the family.
We would like to inform everyone that the documents required for the transfer have arrived, and the collection has been officially verified. Consequently, next week the total amount raised so far will be transferred to the grandmother’s bank account and will be used directly to provide for the children’s daily needs and to secure their future.
The donation line remains open, and we continue to welcome donations, as the family needs long-term support.
Furthermore, Szent István Primary School in Szigethalom is organising a charity day to support the family. If you can, please join us on 26 May 2026 from 4 pm for an afternoon full of activities for children. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping the family.
It is important to note that the fundraising campaign launched on the 4fund website will not stop even if we reach the originally set target. All additional donations will go 100% into the grandmother’s account and will be used for the children’s benefit.

In the blink of an eye, the lives of three children were turned upside down.
A mother lost her life in tragic circumstances, leaving behind three young children – without their mother, without security, without answers.
Their world collapsed overnight.
Now their grandmother is their only support, doing everything in her power to keep the family together whilst facing an unbearable loss and a huge responsibility.
We want to help in this unimaginable situation.
That is why we are launching this fundraising campaign, so that together we can ease their burden and ensure that the children have their daily necessities, stability and a chance at a safer future.
We are in close contact with the family and can clearly see the difficult situation they find themselves in. We have organised this fundraiser together with the family – 100% of the funds raised will be passed on to the grandmother, who will use it to provide for the children and secure their future.
