I'm going down this path because I don't know what to do next. I am 34 years old and had a serious back operation in 2018 and have been suffering from constant pain ever since. As a result of the operation, I am now on disability pension. My wife also had a serious car accident last year and has been on sickness benefit since then. We have a son and a dog who give us a lot of strength to keep fighting. However, there are now a lot of problems in our flat. The windows are leaking, the heating isn't working properly and there's now mould and the landlord isn't doing anything. Unfortunately, we can't find a new flat because all the landlords say that the financial situation is too uncertain or that they have something against children or pets. We wanted to get out of this cycle and get a house. However, the bank says that it is not possible with our pension, although they see that we have enough money for the instalment.

We would have a house for ourselves but we are short of €101,000 and we are worried about our health.

It would be nice if people would help us for our new start.
