Since childhood, I have struggled with a number of illnesses: phlebitis, psoriasis, spinal degeneration, heart disease, epilepsy and deafness. I move around on crutches and one leg is 6 cm shorter than the other. The doctors have ruled that I am unable to work. Life didn't spare me from the beginning...

It's not easier now either - I live on what I get from social welfare, which is only 219 zloty a month.... my everyday life is a struggle to survive. He is more often hungry than full. When he has bread, I think about what I will eat tomorrow. At night the cold penetrates me to the bone, I sleep under a blanket I found in a dumpster.

My gazebo is a room with a cooker, no bathroom or toilet. The roof leaks, the door is rotten and the windows have cracks in them. I burn all nights on the cooker to at least keep warm. Other people have better conditions in their garages....

Despite his own suffering, he has a heart full of kindness. I care for homeless animals, sharing everything I have with them. my biggest dream is to renovate my gazebo: replacing the doors, windows, painting the walls and buying tar paper for the roof
