🚴 421 km for the Kispest School  🚴

Did you know that many children live in family circumstances where the daily struggle to make ends meet drains their parents’ energy? As a result, these children unfortunately do not receive the support at home that they need to learn and develop their abilities.

This is what led to the establishment of the Kispest School in the autumn of 2016, where the focus is on the development of children facing multiple disadvantages. In addition to individual attention and development, they organise exciting programmes beyond the classroom that these children would otherwise never experience. Over the past nine years, more than 25 children have been given a better chance of succeeding in life.

In the 2023/2024 academic year, a new group for pre-school-aged children was launched, which you also contributed to by supporting my 2023 and 2024 campaigns. Since then, seven young children have received personalised support on a weekly basis through the programme, giving them the chance to start school without an insurmountable disadvantage. To continue this valuable work for a third year, we need your support again this year!

That is why, on 12 and 13 September 2025, I will once again take on the challenge: over two days, I will cycle around Lake Balaton twice (a total of 400 km), and on 12 October I will run a half-marathon (21 km). My goal is to raise 421,000 HUF, or 1,000 HUF per kilometre – this amount is enough to ensure we can continue to provide early development support for these children throughout the year.
