We take in dogs and cats into our own home who have nowhere else to go – whether they have been abandoned, thrown out or are ill. Many animals arrive in a serious condition: we care for paralysed, injured or sick pets with broken limbs on a daily basis. We try to find a loving, permanent owner for each and every one of them, which is often a long and difficult process.

Day-to-day care – feeding, medication, surgery, rehabilitation – is very costly. Our work is not supported by state funding, so every bit of help is invaluable.
