A dream put on hold for 20 years: help us celebrate our wedding

Hello, we’re Ara and Rubén.

We’ve been together for 20 years, sharing a story full of love, struggle and many trials. Life threw financial obstacles our way time and time again, and although we’ve been dreaming of our wedding for years, we’ve always had to put it off until ‘later’.

Today, we want that “someday” to finally arrive. We’re not looking for a big party, new outfits or gifts. We simply want to bring our loved ones together for a simple, honest celebration full of love. And, above all, without anyone having to pay anything to join us. We want to thank you for everything you’ve given us simply by being there.

That’s why we’ve set up this GoFundMe: to ask you, with our hearts in our hands, for a little help in making this dream—which has been two decades in the making—a reality.
