Description
Help us keep our family together – we’re looking for a car to keep us moving and keep our hopes alive
We are a young couple from a small village where every kilometre matters. Our names are Roman and Míša, and for several years now we have been building a home not only for ourselves, but also for our extended family – four cats and a dog, who are like children to us.
But our hearts also go out to our grandmother, who lost both her legs following a serious illness and now lives in a care home. We are her only close relatives who visit her regularly, help her with things the carers cannot manage on their own, and, above all, bring her joy, love and a little piece of home.
The last few months have been a trial for us. We have tried to stand on our own two feet, earn an honest living through our trade, and bring value to the people around us. But reality has caught up with us – the employers we worked for are struggling to secure new contracts and work has dried up. Although we are not giving up and are looking for new avenues, we are losing the regular income that allowed us to function.
Our old car, which for all these years has allowed us to commute to work, visit our grandmother and get home to our animals, is on its last legs. We can no longer afford the repairs, and every journey is a risk not only for us but also for everyone who relies on us. And without a car, our world will slowly start to fall apart – without the ability to get to work, to see our family, to visit the doctors or simply to go shopping in the village, it is simply impossible to function.
That is why we are asking you, kind-hearted people, for help. We need a reliable car that will allow us to continue looking after our grandmother, go to work and maintain the home we have built together. It is not easy for us to ask for support – we have always wanted to earn everything ourselves. But now we know that asking for help is not a shame. It is hope.
Every crown, every donation, every share of our story will help us get closer to our goal and regain the security and opportunity to continue living with dignity, in love and together.
We thank everyone who helps us from the bottom of our hearts. We will keep you informed of every step, and we believe that once we’ve made it through this, we too will be able to help others again.
With humility and gratitude,
Romča and Míša
